Cleaning Definitions
CLEANING TECHNICIAN – Cleaning person – also known as cleaning lady, cleaners, house cleaners
Speed cleaning – Perfect Maintenance Cleaning – Our method of cleaning
Recurring Service – On going service -weekly, biweekly, monthly
2-Day Session Deep Clean- Deep clean
Initial General Clean -First time clean in a home that has signed up for Recurring service
Maintenance Clean –Cleaning you get on a recurring service (basic or general)
Move-out/in Clean – When a home is moved out of and empty
Vacant Clean -This empty clean is usually ordered by Realtors/Property Managers
Process payment –Taking payment in person or through our payment system SQUARE, VENMO OR ZELLE
Wash/clean –clean by hand
Dust/Clean -Dusting of home and spot cleaning what needs to be sprayed and wiped down
Dust- Use feather duster or extension duster
Edge- The area between the wall and floor (Use a crevice tool with vacuum to edge hard floor or carpet. Also, used in mopping and vacuuming)
Toothbrush- real toothbrush or heavy duty grout brush -use on toilets crevices, grout
Scraper- Tool to scrape stuck on food and gunk on floors and countertops
Cobwebbing/dusting – Using an extension duster to reach all corners, high window ledges, ceiling fans and anything out of normal reach
Non-scratch sponge –blue scotch brite
Pumice stone – Gets rings out of toilets and use in ovens
Steel wool –For heavy duty shower cleans -soap scum and grim
SOS Pads – For medium dirt on stoves and bathrooms
Ostrich feather duster – For dusting -feather duster has been around for over a 100 years and has been proven to be the best tool for cleaning and dusting
Microfiber cloths –Used for dusting and stainless-steel appliances
Terry cloths – Used for general cleaning
Cup –Used for rinsing tubs
Scrub brush – Used for heaving scrubbing of showers and some floors
2-step ladder – We only go as high as a 2-step ladder

- HBV Hospital Disinfectant/Cleaner; Use for high touch areas-doorknobs, light switch plates, rails, Toilets and shower walls, floors
- Murphy’s Oil Soap; Used for all wood and cabinets, doors, baseboards, leather furniture
Dawn Dish Soap; Used in replace of comet and such. Tubs/showers, toilets, sinks, floors, countertops

Toothbrushes
Green scrub pad, sos pads, steel wool; Used for heavy duty cleaning
Plastic Scraper –Used for scraping
Terry cloths and Microfiber; Used for cleaning
O’Cedar Spin Mop; Used for all hard floors
Vacuum; Used for all floors. Hard and carpet
Broom; Used to sweep
Cobwebber extension; Used to get very high corners etc.. 30 feet
