The client sent me away. What do I do….
At times clients will send you away when you arrive at their door. Reasons vary. They may say they tried calling or texting but did not get the message out in time.
What do you do?:
- Text or call office and let them know
- Leave if you have no other job -chose to do door hangers in that neighborhood (carry door hangers with you)
- If you have 2nd job, drive away from 1st client and park somewhere to contact 2nd client
- If you have a second job see if you can get there early (this option is quicker than having the office call and get back to you)
- Open the 2nd job profile
- Click on phone number and call client; tell them you first job fell through and ask if you can come now
- You may text them if you get no answer when calling
*Hopefully the 2nd client will let you arrive now or in a bit. Some clients will say no and want the arrival time they were assigned.
What to do if you have to wait for 2nd job: or no answer
- Let office know
- Wait 15 minutes for a response on your end or from office
- If this happens you will have to go home and wait till second job is ready -let office know by text
- You may choose to do door hangers and earn some time while waiting
- Proceed as usual
*This does not happen very often but it’s good to know what to do when it does.
