I Found Money in a Clients Home, what do I do with it….

We often come across money in client’s homes. What do we do with it? Sometimes clients stage money (fact) & sometimes clients are just careless with money.

When we find paper cash money:

1. We take pictures of paper money (not coins)
2. Count the money
3. Send picture to office & report to office
4. Put money in a noticeable safe location

When we find coin money:

1. Always pick up coins and put them in a noticeable spot (on dresser, counter, table etc..)
2. No need to report coin money
