How to Clean a Trash Can & Trash Cabinet
Trash Can (Inside & Out)

  • Empty the trash first
    Remove the bag and check for leaks or spills.
  • Dust or wipe loose debris
    Knock out crumbs or dust before washing.
  • Clean the inside
    Use a lightly damp cloth with all‑purpose cleaner or soapy water.
    Wipe the entire interior, including the bottom and corners.
  • Clean the outside -if it is stainless steel, please use correct cleaning product
    Wipe the lid, sides, foot pedal, and base. These areas collect fingerprints and grime.
  • Dry completely
    Moisture causes odors—wipe dry before putting in a new bag.

Trash Cabinet (Pull‑Out or Hinged)

  • Remove the trash can first
    Take the bin out so you can access the cabinet fully.
  • Dust or wipe loose debris
    Crumbs and spills often collect in the corners.
  • Clean the cabinet interior
    Use a lightly damp cloth to wipe the sides, bottom, and door panel.
    Pay attention to sticky spots, spills, and food residue.
  • Clean the cabinet door & handle
    Wipe the front of the cabinet and the handle—these areas get touched the most.
  • Clean the pull‑out track (if applicable)
    Wipe the rails and edges where dust and grime collect.
  • Replace the trash can
    Put the clean, dry bin back and add a fresh bag.
