Pulling Out Fridges & Ovens

  Pulling Out Fridges & Ovens

1. Approach the appliance slowly

• Gently pull the fridge or oven only a few inches at a time

• These appliances are connected to water hoses, electrical plugs, and sometimes gas lines.

2. Never disconnect anything

• Never unhook a gas line.

• Never unhook a water hose.

• Never unplug anything to pull the appliance out further.

These lines can break, leak, or cause major damage.

3. Clean only what you can safely reach

• Reach behind and under as far as your arm or tool allows.

• Wipe, sweep, or vacuum the accessible area.

• Do not worry about debris or items that remain behind the appliance that you can’t reach.

4. Slide the appliance back into place

• Push it back gently and ensure it sits correctly.

5. No need to call the office

• Simply leave a note in the client’s profile with:

• What you did

• What you could not reach

• The date

This keeps everything documented and protects both you and the client.

Never pull out if there is no space

Never pull out if they are too heavy

Never pull out if they are stuck

Never try to move washer and dryer -we do not move them
