There are many ways to clean an oven. We’ve got it done to a good system. Please follow
We do not use oven cleaner. No exceptions.
NEVER USE PUMIC STONE DRY. ALWAYS USE WET (WITH CUP OF WATER. DIP IN WATER
Supplies:
All Pro Cleaner, SOS Pads, Pumice Stone, Cup with water, rags, paper towels
Steps:
Prep:
- Pull out racks and set on counter
- Pull out oven drawer, set aside
- Spray inside oven with All Pro Clean to saturate with liquid
- Get your SOS Pad wet
- Fill cup with water
- Pull out pumice stone
- Get rags or paper towels ready
Oven Door:
- SOS pad (get wet and scrub oven door
- Wipe clean (see what did not come off)
- Spray door again
- Use pumice stone and cup of water to scrub rest of grease and burnt stuff off
- Repeat 2-4
- Wipe frame clean including hinges
Inside Oven:
- Spray again
- Use SOS pad and scrub sides, back and bottom (we do not scrub the top)
- Wipe clean (see where you can scrub with SOS pad again, repeat steps 2 & 3)
- Use pumice stone to scrub bottom of oven
- Wipe and repeat pumice stone if necessary
- Spray oven/door wipe clean
Racks:
- Take a damp rag and wipe racks clean of burnt pieces.
- For a deeper clean you can take racks to sink or bath tub and use SOS pad and scrub each little bar. Rinse (Step 1 is what we do most time)
Oven Drawer:
- Clean floor where drawer is placed
- Spray and clean drawer, put back
Pull out oven:
This is only done is oven/stove is easily moved
- Clean side of oven
- Clean wall and floor
- Slide oven back
Warning: pull out the oven slowly so you don’t pull out the gas line. Keep gas line and electric plug plugged in
