Mop Bucket Handling
🪣 Preparing the Mop Bucket
• Put on the mop head and extend the mop handle.
• At the kitchen sink, add one drop of Dawn dish soap to the bucket.
• Fill with warm water up to the MAX fill line inside the bucket.
🧹 After Mopping
Kitchen sink option:
• Empty mop bucket into sink.
• Rinse sink thoroughly afterward.
Utility sink option (laundry room):
• Empty bucket into utility sink.
• Rinse sink thoroughly afterward.
Toilet option:
• Pour dirty water into the toilet.
• Wait a moment, then flush again to ensure no residue remains at the bottom.
Outdoor option:
• Use an inconspicuous spot on the client’s property (e.g., near your car tire).
• Pour water slowly.
• ⚠️ Never dump/throw water on lawns or into the street.
Always detract your mop handle the way the trainer showed you. We do not want accidents from a long mop handle dangling.
