Reno Custom Cleaning Employee Pay Policy
Pay By the Hour:
All Reno Custom Cleaning employees are paid by the hour. They are paid for their exact time they work
Exceptions:
- If there is training going on in one of your jobs. You will get the full pay of the allotted time at job
Direct Deposit:
All employees will be paid by direct deposit
- If an employee does not have a bank account. They may get a Gusto card (it’s like a venmo card) through Gusto. Must order card when signing up with Gusto
Clock In/Out Requirements
• All employees must use the company app to clock in and out.
• Start of day: Clock in when you arrive at your first house.
• End of day: Clock out when you finish your last house.
• Mondays: Clock in upon arrival at the office for supply refills. Stay clocked in through your first house and clock out after your last house.
Exceptions: If your job is later in the morning not directly after office stop. Please clock out of office refill stop and clock back in when you get to your first job
• Meetings & assigned duties: Employees must clock in/out for any company‑assigned tasks.
• Volunteer duties: Not paid. Do not clock in/out.
Breaks & Travel
• Travel time and two 10‑minute breaks are included in straight pay.
• Use the “Break” option in the app to record a 10‑minute break.
• Employees must clock out for:
• 30‑minute lunch breaks
• Gas stops
• Personal errands during the workday
• If personal business is done between jobs, clock back in when arriving at the next house.
Additional Pay
• Gas allowance: $5 per house, split between two cleaners.
• Equipment care: 1 hour of paid time per week. At your hourly rate
• Tips: All tips are paid to employees.
Sometimes tips are missed. Please ask management about the missed tip
Raises
• All raises are based on performance and reviews.
• Raises are not automatic; they are earned through consistent quality work, professionalism, and positive client feedback.• Performance reviews will be conducted regularly to determine eligibility
Note: If there are any discrepancies with your pay, please come to management right away. We are not payroll professionals and we do the best we can and sometimes we make mistakes.
