How to Clean an Entertainment Center or TV Stand
- Clean the TV first
Dust or clean the TV before touching the stand. Only clean a flat‑screen TV if you’ve been trained on the correct method. - Dust the front and back of the TV
Remove dust from both sides so it doesn’t fall onto the stand after you’ve cleaned it. - Dust the top of the stand
Start at the top, then wipe with a damp cloth to remove buildup. - Work shelf by shelf, top to bottom
Dust each shelf, then clean it with a damp cloth before moving down to the next level. - Don’t forget the back
Dust the back of the stand or entertainment center if accessible. Cords and wires collect dust too—wipe them carefully. - If shelves are deep, pull items out
Remove items as needed to dust and clean the full surface. - Dust and clean the items themselves
Wipe down décor, electronics, and accessories before placing them back neatly.
