How to Vacuum Furniture

Use this guide to quickly vacuum furniture for routine cleaning or deep cleaning. Follow the steps below based on the level of cleaning needed.

Light Vacuum (Routine Maintenance)

•Attach the upholstery tool to the vacuum

•Vacuum the top surfaces of the sofa or chair

•Focus on areas that collect debris like armrests, headrests, and front edges

•Give extra attention to spots that look dusty or crumb-prone

•Remove each cushion from the furniture

•Vacuum all sides of every cushion: top, bottom, front, back, left, and right

•Vacuum the base of the sofa or chair where cushions sit

•Vacuum the inner sides and creases of the furniture frame

•Reassemble neatly, smoothing cushions and aligning edges
