I Locked My Keys and Phone in My Car or a Client’s House
- Keep your keys on you
Always keep your keys in your pocket or on your person while loading your car after a job to prevent lock‑ins. - If your keys and phone are locked in your car
Go back into the client’s home and ask to use their phone to call your emergency contact. - Call roadside assistance
Contact your insurance company’s roadside assistance.
Best practice: having AAA makes this process faster and easier. - If the client is not home
Go to a neighbor’s house and ask to use their phone for help. - If no neighbors are available
Walk to the nearest house or store to get assistance. - If all else fails
Call the office so we can help coordinate a solution. - If your keys and phone are locked inside a client’s house
Follow the same method. If the home has a door code, check the client profile—you may be able to get back inside.
