Steps to clean floors

  CLEANING THE FLOORS

1. Start by vacuuming from the back of the house or room to front, shake out rugs, set aside.

2. Use pole attachment to vacuum all tight spaces. Such as between bed & nightstands. Use attachment to vacuum hard floor edge areas then proceed to vacuum -the area between baseboard and floor

3. Edge carpet only on deep cleanings or if in work order. Or if there is a spot that needs it (spot edging)

4. Use hard floor option on vacuum to vacuum all area rugs NEVER USE ROLLER BEATER ON AREA RUGS. ESPECIALLY ON FRINGE

5. After floors are vacuumed it’s time to mop

6. Take mop bucket to sink, add small drop of Dawn and add hot water

7. Mop from side to side -don’t forget to ‘edge’ mop

8. Put back rugs as you go -so you don’t walk on clean floors

9. Mop from back of the house to front, work your way out of the room to front door

10.Empty mop bucket in an inconspicuous place outside, toilet or laundry room sink NEVER THROW MOP WATER IN THE STREET OR ON LAWN

Tip: When you vacuum, please look at floor and look for dirt to vacuum up

–         If you miss some dirt, you will get it when you mop. Which makes it harder to mop. So, do a thorough job vacuuming and your mopping will be supper quick.

–     Vacuum and mop under furniture as far as you can reach
