         What doors do I lock in a home…

We must always secure a client’s home. Locking doors or making sure doors are shut securely is of the utmost importance.

Door to lock:

• Lock all front doors, back doors, sliding glass doors
• Sometimes clients will have you just leave the front door unlocked. That’s ok. Just make sure the door is securely shut by pulling it back and forth. Do this motion on all doors whether you lock them or not

Doors not to lock:

• Door leading to garage from inside the home

Unsure doors:

• Basement doors, Garage doors leading to the outside
• If the door is locked when you use it. Lock it when done
• If the door is unblocked. Keep it unlocked when done
