Handling a Slow/chatty Cleaning Partner
What do you do if you are frustrated with a cleaning partner when they are slow or chatting too much?
• Notice that your partner is moving slowly, talking too much, or leaving tasks undone
• Ask them directly what their current status is
• Point out what areas are not yet finished
• Coordinate together to divide and complete the unfinished areas
• Remind them that there is a time limit
• Encourage them to pick up the pace so the job gets done on time
- Report to office if it’s unmanageable
✨ As cleaners, we often work with people who may not do their fair share or who are just slower. We all must be kind when addressing this issue. But at the same time, we have to be firm and direct.
