⭐ MICRO MOVE: Route Density
What Route Density Means
Route Density is how we keep a cleaner’s day tight, efficient, and in the same general area. It means we try to schedule jobs so the cleaner is working in one part of town, not driving back and forth across Reno.
The goal: Less driving, more cleaning, smoother days, and better flow for everyone.
How We Build Route Density
When scheduling or rescheduling:
1. Group Jobs in the Same Area
We try to place jobs:
- In the same neighborhood
- On the same side of town
- Within 15–20 minutes of each other
Examples:
- South Reno stays with South Reno
- Northwest Reno stays with Northwest Reno
- Sparks stays with Sparks
- Spanish Springs stays with Spanish Springs
2. Match the Client’s Area to the Cleaner’s Route
Before placing a job:
- Click the client’s name to see their area of Reno
- Check the map to confirm location
- Look at the cleaner’s other jobs that day
- Place the job where it fits the route naturally
3. Avoid “Cross‑Town” Days
We avoid sending cleaners:
- From South Reno → Northwest Reno
- From Sparks → Southwest Reno
- From Spanish Springs → Midtown
Unless:
- A client reschedules last minute
- A cleaner needs help
- A job runs long or short
- We need to support the team flow
4. Use “Find Appointments Nearby”
This tool helps you:
- See which clients are near each other
- Match openings to the right area
- Keep the day tight and efficient
Why Route Density Matters
- Reduces drive time
- Keeps cleaners on schedule
- Prevents burnout
- Improves client arrival accuracy
- Makes the whole day smoother
