How do I enter a client’s home

 ENTERING A CLIENT’S HOME

• Have all cleaning supplies in hand when walking up to the front door
• Ring or knock-on door
• Wait for client to answer
• If client is not home, open door and announce yourself “hello, house cleaning”
• Set cleaning supplies aside in a neat manner
• Lock door behind you
• Take a walk through the home to check if everything is in place, if someone is home etc…

This is the standard steps to enter a client’s home professionally. There are times when you need to leave you cleaning equipment in your car; when doing a walk through on a first time clean (we’ve never been there -move out clean, initial clean)
