What’s the Difference in the Cleanings

“What’s the Difference in the Cleanings?”

Initial General Clean:

For your first visit, we complete an Initial General Clean. This takes a little longer than your regular maintenance clean because we’re removing older buildup and learning the layout of your home. It usually runs about one to two hours longer, and it’s not a deep clean — it’s simply the foundation for your ongoing service.

2-Day Session Deep Clean:

A true Deep Clean is a two‑day service. Day one is dedicated entirely to the kitchen and bathrooms. Day two focuses on the rest of the home — living areas, bedrooms, hallways, laundry room, and so on. The difference is in the level of detail: during a Deep Clean, we hand‑wash everything from doors and frames to baseboards and furniture legs, sides, fronts, and tops.

No Matter the Type of Service:

Your General Clean is lighter. We dust with our tools, spot‑clean surfaces, and fully clean kitchens and bathrooms. It’s designed for upkeep, not restoration.

General Clean is what you receive in our Maintenance Cleans

And if you choose a smaller service — like a Partial Clean or Priority Clean — the definitions don’t change. A general clean is still a general clean, and a deep clean is still a deep clean. The only difference is how much of the home we focus on during your session.
